Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Welcome to ENNOWAT.

ENNOWAT is an AI-powered home repair assistant designed to help users understand household problems, explore possible DIY solutions, identify tools or parts that may be useful, and determine when professional assistance may be appropriate.

By using ENNOWAT, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Informational service

ENNOWAT provides general informational guidance based on the information, photos, videos and descriptions submitted by users.

ENNOWAT does not provide professional engineering, electrical, plumbing, gas, construction or other licensed trade services.

AI-generated information may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a specific situation. Users remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the information provided.

2. Safety

Home repairs can involve risks including electricity, gas, water, structural damage, sharp tools, heat, chemicals and other hazards.

You must stop work and seek qualified professional assistance whenever:

  • ENNOWAT recommends professional help or issues a Safety Stop;
  • the situation involves gas, live electricity, fire, serious water damage or structural danger;
  • you are unsure whether the repair can be carried out safely;
  • local laws or regulations require a qualified or licensed professional.

Never ignore manufacturer instructions, safety warnings, local regulations or professional advice.

3. No guarantee of diagnosis

ENNOWAT analyses the information provided by the user and may suggest a likely cause or possible repair path.

Because ENNOWAT cannot physically inspect the property or equipment, no diagnosis is guaranteed to be correct.

Photos, videos and descriptions may not reveal hidden damage, installation conditions or other important factors.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information;
  • checking that tools and replacement parts are appropriate;
  • following manufacturer instructions;
  • using appropriate protective equipment;
  • complying with applicable laws and regulations;
  • stopping work if conditions change or become unsafe.

Do not attempt a repair beyond your knowledge, experience or physical ability.

5. Professionals

Where ENNOWAT provides information about tradespeople, contractors or service providers, such information is intended to help users identify possible options.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, professionals listed or linked through ENNOWAT are independent third parties.

ENNOWAT does not guarantee their qualifications, availability, pricing, workmanship or suitability.

Users should independently verify credentials, insurance, reviews and pricing before engaging a professional.

6. Products, retailers and prices

ENNOWAT may suggest tools, materials, replacement parts or retailers.

Product information, prices and availability can change at any time.

For the current beta version, webshop comparisons and pricing information primarily relate to retailers operating in the Netherlands.

Users outside the Netherlands should treat these recommendations as general guidance and verify equivalent products with local retailers.

ENNOWAT does not guarantee that a suggested product is suitable for every installation or repair.

7. Third-party websites

ENNOWAT may contain links to third-party websites, retailers, video platforms or service providers.

These websites are operated independently and ENNOWAT is not responsible for their content, availability, prices, products, services or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ENNOWAT and its operator shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from reliance on information provided through the service, including property damage, financial loss, personal injury or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

9. Beta service

ENNOWAT is currently in private beta.

Features may change, be incomplete, become temporarily unavailable or produce unexpected results.

Feedback from beta users may be used to improve the service.

10. Intellectual property

The ENNOWAT name, branding, software, interface and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may use ENNOWAT for personal purposes but may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the service without permission.

11. Acceptable use

You must not misuse ENNOWAT, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it for illegal activities or submit content that violates applicable law.
